HEY THERE,
MY NAME IS

I believe that our stories gift us skills. Just like you, my experiences both personally and professionally shaped how I bring value to the world. My story & the skills I developed now allow me to see things in new ways and help my clients tell their stories.

Studying engineering,
made me great at identifying patterns, creating structure, and connecting the dots.

Earning my MBA and growing in my marketing career taught me how to craft a narrative, draft a strategy, and talk about complex things in simple ways.

Growing up in a diverse family means I naturally hear and speak to many different audiences and have come to value diverse perspectives.

Now I am passionate about helping brands and individuals find their voice and narrative. When you know how to tell your story confidently, you’re that much more ready for whatever chapter is coming next.

Starting from the beginning – I was born and raised in Iowa in a tri-racial family. My parents are white and my sisters are adopted from South Korea. This unique makeup not only meant my home life was very different from my peers but also that I was gifted an appreciation for diversity at a very young age.

I grew up playing soccer competitively, which naturally fed my work ethic, confidence, leadership skills, and instinct for collaboration. Soccer was what cultivated many of the core traits that make me who I am today. It launched me away from Iowa to Cleveland, OH to study biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University.. Moving to Cleveland brought a lot of new experiences that challenged my identity in new ways. The world got bigger and I got less sure.

I found myself in a city that was 48% Black, after knowing only a handful of people that looked like me and I started questioning what it meant to be a Black woman. After leading academically in high school, I went to a college where everyone was highly intelligent and I began questioning what my strengths truly were. I quit soccer after a 16 year career and I started questioning who I was if I didn’t have the title, Athlete.

I was searching for who I was and life wasn’t waiting for me. I moved to Atlanta and started a career as a sales engineer before attending business school at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School to pivot into marketing. This proved to be a transformative time in my life. I found my voice as a leader and grew a deeper awareness and confidence of my strengths and weaknesses.. Coaches and mentors helped me shape my collection of experiences into a narrative and I learned to use that newfound voice to sell that narrative to major organizations landing dream jobs on brands like Nature Valley, Mott’s, Yoplait, smartwater, and now Red Bull.

Branching out and working to develop my storytelling has been a foundational piece of growing myself and ultimately my career. Now I am passionate about helping brands and individuals find their voice and narrative. When you know how to tell your story confidently, you’re that much more ready for whatever chapter is coming next.
